At Apex Psychology Group, we offer highly competitive rates for concierge psychology services.
Concierge psychology is about quality of service, privacy and accessibility, but we also aim to make the rates of our premium services competitive with other practices. Therefore, we are primarily “Fee for Service” providers for both our therapy and coaching services.
However, we can provide you the required documentation for you to send the insurance company directly if you choose to use insurance and seek reimbursement.
Our Fee for Service rate model allows us to limit the number of clients we work with, allowing us to design greater individualized care and access beyond typical business hours. We enjoy working with our clients to obtain the results they are looking for in the most efficient manner for them.

Therapy Rates
Our rates for individual therapy is $225 per hour. We often customize to specific clients’ needs and so there can be some variation in price per session based on time.
Pricing on testing, report writing, assessment, and other items also may vary. We are always up front in our costs, and we discuss those with you before we agree to the service. Therefore, no surprises show up on our bills. First sessions with clients are usually 75 minutes and couple’s sessions generally run 90 minutes in length.

Coaching Rates
While session rates for coaching are $225 per hour, there is considerable savings when you buy a package.

Do you take insurance?
We are limited on the insurance coverages we accept. Most of our clients use our “fee for service” rate options. However, we can provide what is called a “super bill” which can be used with your insurance company to document services and pursue reimbursement. Give us a call if you have question on accepting your insurance.
Why don’t we take more insurance clients? Well, primarily because most insurance rates of reimbursement generally do not cover the cost of our services. Therefore, we would be forced to do what other practices do, and stuff our schedule with as many clients as we can to make up the difference in income. Frankly, we really don’t like the idea of degrading the quality of our services in order to pay the bills.
Instead, we choose to work with highly motivated, focused clientele in the manner that bests suit them to get the results they are looking for. In order to do that, we limit the number of clients we accept. We take the time needed to help them focus on getting results, rather than just what insurance says they will allow.
How do I pay for services?
We use a HIPPA compliant portal for all of our payment and correspondence. When clients set up their initial paperwork, we ensure that their information and method of payment is in the system. This way they don’t have to worry about a bill showing up in the mail. We take all major credit cards. Established clients can pay by check if preferred.
How do I know if coaching or therapy is the right choice?
Contact us and we’d be happy to discuss the differences in coaching and therapy with you. If we feel strongly that one or the other approach is the better fit, we will say so! We want our clients to be able to focus on their goals. Making sure you have the right tools to do so is part of our job!
